Summary
TheJustice Leagueand the Avengers may be the two capital team in comic books , butCaptain Americais not a fan of DC ’s squad of superheroes . The two team have fight back their respective population for yr against threat that would stamp down or destroy everything . But despite their similarities , there ’s one major difference between the two teams that Cap can not stand .
A contest between two cosmic force leads to theAvengers and Justice League switch universesin the 2003 - 2004 miniseriesJLA / Avengersby Kurt Busiek , George Perez , Tom Smith , and Comicraft . When the Avengres land in the DC Universe , Captain America is less than impressed with how this universe treats its heroes compared to the Marvel Universe .
This leads Captain America to believe that the Justice League is made up of tyrants who have suppress the world . He base this belief on the Earth ’s absurd hero worship , such as literal firm food chains based on Batman or the Flash Museum . This is a stark departure from the Marvel Universe , where civilian often suspect their zep and what they can do .

The Avengers and Justice League are equally matched on opposite face of the multiverse , but the former may have just launch a serious reward .
The DC Universe Treats Its Heroes Much Better Than Marvel
The DC Universe definitely treats its heroes differently from Marvel ’s . Despite DC consume a reputation for being " dismal " with characters like Batman , the civilians of the DC Universe lean to love their paladin . Superman is a beloved hero in Metropolis and Flash is so popular in Central City that he has his very own museum , something Quicksilver even remarks on . There is ware of characters like Superman , who get to appear on the news ; Wonder Woman is a real embassador for the government , and Batman has a Warren Burger franchise based off his adventures . All of these show that theJustice League is treated much differently from the Avengers .
The Marvel Universe does n’t treat its heroes virtually as well as DC does , and that ’s in part due to the sheer identification number of departure in their cosmos . The Avengers go on to admit Dr. Doom to predominate over Latveria , with no material direction to kibosh him . While DC has Black Adam , his citizens seem to legitimately care for him , and Black Adam does n’t attempt to conquer the man every chance he gets . The Marvel Universe also has its mutant problem , with a Brobdingnagian amount of hate being guide towards the mutant universe , something the Avengers have n’t been able to solve . There was also the massiveCivil Warevent that nearly demolish the superhero residential area entirely , an event that DC does n’t have its own interlingual rendition of .
Captain America Sees The Justice League As Tyrants
While both teams are equally heroic , one obviously has a unvoiced time than the other . For whatever reason , the Marvel Universe is a importantly more uncongenial position to its grinder , with anti - mutant sentiment running rampant and events like theCivil Wararc that pit friend against friend . These major differences lead Captain America to believe that the Justice League but must have curb their world and enforced the making love that civilian seem to have for them . Considering the world Captain America come in from and the events he ’s seen , it ’s not an inordinate assumption . But despite howCaptain Americafeels about theJustice League , the citizens of DC truly do love them .
