When asked about Lee ’s fate in the season 1 finis and potential return in a season 2 , the showrunner expressed the feeling that Russell ’s account reached a " satisfying ending " with his seeming dying , though tease that " there ’s always way " and sharing his hope to reunify with as much of the original dramatis personae should the show be renewed . I always think there ’s more to tell . You ’ve now see the final sequence ; I think it ’s a very satisfying conclusion to his story . It feels like he started the time of year with a very specific mission that sort of haunted him over the 10 . Then , at the end of the season , he gets an opportunity to go back and revisit what he considers to be the mistakes he made , and attain his mission . I call back we all agree internally [ that ] it feels complete ; that tarradiddle feels complete .
That say , there ’s always room . Those role player were so great . They ’re so great to operate with . They anchor the show in the two timelines . We do not have an official pickup for a 2nd season , but we ’re always thinking of ideas . We ’d screw to have as much of our original crew back to narrate more stories as we could .
