If the Mandalorians had the help of Sabine ’s Rebel cell in unloose their satellite from the Empire and were united against the Imperials for the mistreatment of their multitude , thenthey should have been helping the Rebel Allianceor at least helping the fight against the Empire in some way . Even if they were rogues and did n’t officially join the Rebel Alliance , surely they would still have help in some of the key battles .
Where WERE Mandalorians During The Star Wars Original Trilogy?
There is no easy explanation for the Mandalorians ' absence seizure during theStar Warsoriginal trilogy geological era . However , one possibility is that they were simply fight the royal presence on unlike planets . While it still seems peculiar that they would pretermit the most important battle - such as the Battle of Yavin , the Battle of Endor , andthe Battle of Jakku- the Empire was truly galactic in scale . They may have been otherwise lock .
This is even more plausible if they were n’t part of the Rebel Alliance , given Mon Mothma ’s ethics limited the group she would work with . The Alliance did n’t require information about the Death Star father out . The Empire already knew that they had slip the schematics . If word unfold , the Rebel Alliance could have more people - even planets - turning against them in ego - defending team . It seems unconvincing that the Rebel Alliance would n’t have asked for their help . ThisAhsokaplot hole wo n’t be easy forStar Warsto jam , but they will ask to address it presently .
