Kyle Rayner is one of the most famous Green Lanterns and was once the DC Universe ’s sole Green Lantern . And that ’s not even getting into his godlike upgrades as Ion or the White Lantern . Kyle has had some of the best adventures in the DC Universe , but he ’s been a specter in the last few years . To be fairish , there ’s more than a handful of Earth - ground Green Lanterns and unluckily , not every Lantern can be in the public eye . However , the new stand-in story inGreen Lantern # 8seems to correct this by finally showcasing what Kyle Rayner is up to .

While some fans may prefer Kyle Rayner to be leading his ownGreen Lanternbook , Adams is making it clear that he bonk rooter want to see more of the Corps ' other members and not just Hal and John . This new backup will give Kyle and other Lanterns like Jo Muellin and Guy Gardner a focusing they have n’t had in a while . Will it be enough to sate the fans ' appetency for more of Kyle Rayner ?
