However , there is still hope that some of the character from the spinoff could seem in the original series , and if anyone were to return , it would be Niecy Nash as Simone Clark . Simone was the star ofThe Rookie : Feds , and she and Nolan share a special bond since they both start law enforcement jobs when they were previous . It was always a goody to watch Simone and Nolan share the screen , so it would be amazing to see Nash return in time of year 6 .

1A Proper Ending To Elijah & Monica’s Villain Arcs
The antagonists' storylines need closure
